Jesus: Apocalyptic Prophet of the New Millenium by B Ehrman

Although I have only read the reviews of this book, I think I shall have to read it at some stage since its take on who Jesus was is virtually identical to my own. Has anybody read it? If so I should love to know your reactions to it.

I haven't read it either, but I have seen it and would certainly recommend it should you get the chance to find a copy. Bart is always a good read and never fails to provoke a thought or two - and sometimes raise a smile. It certainly seems in your line of interests and will also provide a really useful perspective of where things stand today with apocalyptism.

So if anyone has read a copy I would also love to hear your thoughts about it.
