I have a friend who is thinking of getting a PhD in patristics through the University of Wales. I am having lunch with him next week and as I have never heard of this university before I am not sure what to say. I will blame my ignorance on being over here in the colonies so I was wondering if anyone has an opinion of this school and its patristics department. He will be supervised here in Canada but his degree will be from UofW.
